Building Harrisonburg City Fire Station No. 5 on the north end of town in the Park View area has been discussed for decades. Awarded through Design-Build, we broke ground on Station No. 5 in July of 2024.

Project Info
This 14,067 SF Fire Station is designed to support 24/7/365 operations and living quarters for Harrisonburg City Fire Department personnel that includes: offices, sleeping rooms, bathroom/shower/locker facilities, kitchen/dining space, a physical fitness room, congregant relaxation/study area, Information Technology and Telecommunications space, washer/dryer utility space, and dry goods storage. The living quarters will be conventional construction while the attached apparatus bay with four lanes, each measuring approximately 80′ x 20′, will be a pre-engineered metal structure.
